Harvard Seeks Submissions for Map of the Month Contest

The Innovations in Government programme at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation has announced that it is seeking applications for the Map of the Month contest, a new initiative dedicated to recognising and highlighting the impactful work being done in the area of data visualisation and mapping. All units of government within the United States (federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial) and non-profits may submit maps for consideration. Read more

2017 Summer Institute on GIS and Public Health

This institute aims to help participants understand, develop and incorporate a broad range of GIS techniques in public health research, practice, and public policy. More information can be found here.

Call for Volunteers at FOSS4G in Boston

Volunteers will be asked to attend a two-hour training session and work a minimum of 12 hours throughout the conference. In exchange for their time, volunteers will have their registration fee reduced to $50 dollars (food coverage). Applications will be accepted until June 20th. To apply please click here.
