The Harvard Library now subscribes to the China GeoExplorer system from the University of Michigan China Data Center. It offers China demographic and economic data, maps, charts and reports in a web-based delivery system. Data sources include demographic and business information for all PRC geographies, including 31 Provinces, 345 Prefecture Cities, 2,873 Counties, and over 50,000 Townships.
Harvard faculty, students, researchers and staff can access the Harvard subscription here: http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.eresource:chinageoexplr. Depending on your IP, you will probably be prompted for your HUID and PIN.
