If you are getting the following error message when connecting though VPN - “The license server manager has not been started yet, the wrong port @ host or license file is being used, or the port or hostname in the license file has been changed.”
Most likely your VPN connection is slow and the software didn’t wait long enough to receive the signal from the license server. You may extend the waiting time by Right click My Computer, pick Properties, Advanced, Environment Variables, FLEXLM_TIMEOUT, change the Value to 30000000.
