Call for Registration - 2015 CGA Conference: The Lab for Computer Graphics and Spatial Analysis (1965-1991) and Its Legacy

This year’s CGA conference is aimed at celebrating the 50th anniversary in the history of GIS, along with the 10th birthday of the CGA itself. It features some special presentations from original participants from those heady days, from the Graduate School of Design and other parts of Harvard, as well as GIS scholars and researchers from around the world, looking back to those early days of “the Lab”, and tracing its legacy of seminal developments into the present and on into the future. Open to public. April 30th - May 1st, 2015 . CGIS South Concourse level, 1730 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA. To register, please click here.

Last Call for Applications:

Workshop: Cutting-Edge Methods for Exploring the Connection between Air Pollution and Health Disparities

Disparities in health and health care are pervasive and persistent. Differences in environmental exposures in general, and air pollution in particular, have been suggested as a source of such disparities in the U.S. and elsewhere. This workshop will provide an introduction to measuring outdoor and indoor air pollution exposures and to incorporating these measures into epidemiologic studies. Application is required and due by April 10, 2015. read more
