Harvard Geospatial Library Desktop Tool for ArcMap

The HGL Desktop Tool is a free extension developed by HUL/OIS that allows Harvard ArcMap users to search the extensive holdings of the Harvard Geospatial Library and access the data directly from within the ArcMap software package. Login to access it via the Custom Tools for ArcGIS topic on our ESRI Software page:

CGA Acquires Marine Radio GPS

The Entomology Department of the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology has generously donated a Lowrance marine radio GPS to the CGA.  The device is available for use by any Harvard ID holders, contact us at: contact@help.cga.harvard.edu  to reserve it.

Student GIS Technician Position Open
The Harvard Medical School Department of Global Health and Social Medicine is seeking a student with ArcGIS experience to assist with a global health research project assessing the epidemiology of surgical disease in Haiti.  For more information, see the CGA employment page:
