This map displays the extent of bilateral (country-to-country) migration across all the world's countries. Click anywhere inside a country's territory and color-coded lines will reflect the number of foreign-born people in a "Destination". Click "Origin" in the Menu Bar and the map will reflect the number of people from the selected country who have migrated to other countries worldwide. Warmer colored lines (pink, red orange) represent greater numbers of people, while cooler colored lines (yellow, green and blue) represent fewer people. Hover your mouse over any single line, and a text box in the bottom right of the map will calculate the precise number of immigrants represented. All data is from the most recent year available across all selected countries (2015).
